Tadas Lisauskas is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Greenbutts, a filter technology company focused on delivering scalable, plastic-free alternatives to conventional cellulose acetate cigarette filters for the global tobacco and nicotine industry. Since establishing Greenbutts in 2010, he has led the development and commercialization of patented, plant-based filter solutions designed to meet both emerging regulatory requirements and the performance expectations of adult consumers.​

Mr. Lisauskas founded Greenbutts to address the persistent environmental impact of cigarette filter waste by creating innovative, biodegradable substrates that can be processed on existing filter-making machinery with minimal disruption to current manufacturing workflows. Under his leadership, Greenbutts™ technology has gained recognition among leading combustible, heated tobacco (HNB), and modern oral product manufacturers as a next-generation platform that enables brands to proactively respond to sustainability, SUPD, and ESG objectives while maintaining product quality and sensory performance.​
