Karin Jacobson

Karin Jacobson is the Science Advocacy & Engagement Director at Japan Tobacco International (JTI), based in Geneva, Switzerland. In her role, Karin drives understanding of the science behind tobacco- and nicotine products. She leads a team of scientists, developing scientific messaging and material based on rigorous and comprehensive analysis of scientific literature and research findings. Prior to joining JTI in 2017, Karin built extensive experience in pharmaceutical science and holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Basel, Switzerland.
