Christa Pelsers is a seasoned fiscal affairs expert with over 25 years of experience in taxation, finance, and regulatory engagement across the European landscape. Currently serving as EU Head of Fiscal Affairs and International Trade at British American Tobacco, she leads high-level advocacy and policy work on excise, customs, and trade, engaging with EU institutions and national stakeholders to shape sector-specific legislation.
She has been the chair of Tobacco Europe’s Fiscal Affairs & Anti-Illicit Trade Working Group since 2015.
