Donato Raponi operates D.Raponi Consulting, a Brussels-based firm specializing in European tax consultancy, particularly in indirect tax, single market regulations, and related policy. He is a former European Commission official with over 30 years of experience in EU taxation, focusing on indirect taxation. Raponi has deep expertise in VAT, customs, and environmental taxes (e.g., CBAM), EU single market legislation and often advising on EU law compliance. He is honorary professor of European Tax law at the Brussels Business School.
